World’s hardest material created in nanolab

It seems that every month there's a new "world's hardest material" coming out the nanotech labs. Now the record has been broken again by researchers at israel's Bar-Ilan University and the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, who have created a new nanomaterial forty times harder than diamond. more @ jpost.com

    Oh, really? This post kept me just updated that diamond is not the hardest material found on earth anymore… I guess, man-made technology really strives hard to outcome nature’s creations..But, what does this contribute to us in the long run?
