Will nanotechnology improve predictive dialer software?

Nanotechnology which is an upcoming technology has started to spread its wings and a number of sectors have already started to experiment with it getting positive results. Some feel that it should even be implemented in the software industry where it could play a pivotal role in improving programs and processes.

Some feel that nanotechnology could be used for improving predictive dialers too. Predictive dialer software is widely used by telemarketing companies for increasing their efficiency. Generally two types of predictive dialers are available in the market, hardware and software based. Hardware based predictive dialers are quite popular because of their simple architecture and speed but are expensive at the end of the day. Software based predictive dialers are software applications which provide logic for driving a list of numbers to a dialer.

Predictive dialers are the backbone of call centers and have enabled telemarketers to increase their efforts and efficiency. It has increased contact time with prospective clients and increased productivity of agents involved in telemarketing or other activities which involve contact with customers.

This is a sophisticated technology which has enabled both large and small companies to cut down on their costs and increase profits. In the future predictive dialing technology is expected to evolve and emerge as a more powerful tool for B2B and B2C businesses.

If implemented in case of predictive dialers, nanotechnology could be put to use for speeding up large businesses and making efficient calls in a timely manner.
