
The College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering of the University at Albany has launched the United States' first comprehensive undergraduate program in Nanoscale Science, with the first classes for the Bachelor of Science program scheduled to begin in the spring of 2010.
"The baccalaureate program in Nanoscale Science at the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering is truly second to none," says University at Albany president George M. Philip. "It offers a unique opportunity for undergraduate students to receive unparalleled education and training in nanotechnology, which is increasingly the driver for innovations in every field imaginable, and further underscores the University's growing recognition as a world-class institution for scientific research and discovery."
