Nanotech sheets help balance body heat
Filed in archive Products on September 4, 2006
Nano-tex, the folks who brought us stain-free nanopants, have now moved into the home textile market with their nanotech-enhanced sheets.
The wrinkle-free cotton sheets, now available through jc penney, use Nano-Tex Coolest Comfort technology to provide moisture wicking properties that draw moisture away from the skin to help balance body temperature. According to a report at azonano:
A recent study conducted by Nano-Tex confirmed consumer interest in enhanced textiles for the home. The survey, which queried consumers on textile enhancements for bedding, bath, tabletop and other home furnishings, reports consumers are very interested in having enhancements built in to their favorite household textiles provided the enhancements would increase their function, comfort and/or durability.
The study also found an overwhelming majority of consumers who already own clothing with fabric enhancements were interested in having these features cross over from their wardrobe into their home.

Martex tried this with X-static sheets. The timing of their product and promotion was lacking as those going through menopause, having night sweats due to auto-immune disorders and medications didn't discover these sheets before they were withdrawn from the market.
Please PROMOTE!
That is key for success.
Appeal to the millions of sufferers who sleep "hot" when there are solutions.
Links for such bedding should be available at all sites discussing: moisture wicking, cool sleep, etc.
CoolMax doesn't work nor does Outlast Technology products. I tried them.
I just checked at the Nano-tex home site and the outlets recommended no longer carry such products?
Antimicrobial carries great importance for those who are ill and have allergies.
Please help us!
Give us links to bedding products available today!
There are now copper sheets available.
I have problems with that. Copper and vitamin c topicals will defeat each other.
Copper can be more toxic more easily unless someone can show me research that shows those copper sheets will not cause an overdose of copper.
It is possible that this has been addressed and I don't want to discourage research of copper used in bedding.
Me, I had 2 Martex X-static sheet sets, AKA, Precious Nights.
They are worn out. I do use the top sheet to protect and help control the temp of my overall bedding.
Thanks!
