Nanoscale views for the technically minded
For those of you interested in the technical aspects of nanotechnology, check out nanoscale views.

It's a blog run by Doug Natelson, an Associate Professor in both Physics and astronomylinks and Electrical and Computer Engineering at Rice University.

In his research, Natelson studies the physics that determine the properties of solid state systems at the nanometer scale. Recently, he's been developing a novel fabrication technique allowing the construction of nanowires with widths substantially below 10 nanometers, a previously unexplored scale for such devices.

Nanoscale views is a great addition to the nanotech discussion, covering very technical issues in nanoscience. It's also very interactive, with lots of comments from its readers. I'll keep my eye on it too, and fill you in on interesting discussions as they arise.

Thanks to Rebecca Blood, who writes the outstanding general blog, Rebecca's Pocket, for tipping me off to this site.
