Liquidia to Receive $3 Million from NIST

Liquidia Technologies will receive approximately $3 million in funding from the National Institue of Standards and Technology (NIST) as part of the NIST's Technology Innovation Program (TIP).

The funds will be used towards further development of the company's PRINT manufacturing process, which is used to produce precisely engineered particles for safe and efficient delivery of vaccines and therapeutic drug products.

"As an industry, we are on the cusp of great therapeutic advancements in areas where unmet medical needs still persist," says Liquidia CEO Neal Fowler. "An investment such as this plays a critical role in enabling Liquidia to advance innovative products to the next stage of development where we will begin to see the true potential for patients."
