German Nanotechnology Companies Are Positive

In Germany, the years of the economic crisis in 2008 and 2009 were hard-hitting for the industries for microtechnology, nanotechnology and advanced materials. However, this economic trend is now changing, as more than half of these German companies are reporting positive outlooks for the second half of 2010.

Many nanotechnology companies expect a more stable business environment in the coming months. The primary reason is that nanotech companies report an increase in foreign demand. This nanotech demand is mainly sourced from Asian export opportunities.

Nevertheless, there are some critics who want to remain conservative about the situation. Unsolved political issues and cash-outs may slow down the sale of nanotechnology products due to lowered purchasing power. It may still be difficult to predict the upcoming economy of nanotechnology.
