Cadmus to present workshop on "Nanotechnology: Managing Health and Environmental Risks"

Every day new uses for nanotechnology materials in commercial products, drug delivery systems, computers, electronics, and construction materials are discovered. managing this new environmental, health and safety risk frontier is challenging.
This workshop offered by The Cadmus Group is designed for professionals who need essential information for understanding nanotechnology risks and the implications for their business. It will provide the basics for responsibly managing nanomaterials exposure, human health, and safety (EHS) issues and for learning potential nanomaterials impacts on workers, consumers, and the environment.
Combining their experience with corporate and governmental clients, workshop instructors Dr. Jo Anne Shatkin, risk assessment expert, and Dr. Brenda Barry, with expertise in toxicology, occupational health, and biosafety, will address these important nanotechnology issues:
Current positions of federal agencies regarding regulations for nanotechnology
