Boston to host inaugural Nanotechnology Excellence Awards
The Nano Science & Technology Institute (NSTI) has announced the inaugural Nanotechnology Excellence Awards, the largest technology awards program in the US. The awards program is dedicated to recognizing significant achievements from the world of research and industry in areas including electronics, life sciences, materials and energy.

The NSTI Nanotechnology Excellence Award winners will be announced at a fund raising event co-hosted by the Museum of Science on Tuesday, May 9, in conjunction with the Nanotech 2006 show. The Nanotech 2006 show is scheduled for May 7-11 in Boston and will feature more than 300 exhibitors and attract more than 3,000 attendees.

"As the largest NanoTech event in the country," said Matthew Laudon, executive director for NSTI, "this year's awards program is dedicated to recognizing all of these outstanding achievements from both the academic and business communities and ultimately helping inspire further innovation in the years ahead."

I'll be presenting the work of my NanoStudio at the event, and look forward to reporting to you on all the happenings.
